Hello, lovelies! I’m super happy to be sharing this DIY Gel Face Mask with you, especially since it’s hot outside and sunburns are in full effect.
I’m a girl who loves the sun and always finds a chance to be outside, whether it’s laying by the pool, playing with my dogs or just going out to feel the warm sun on my skin, especially when it’s freezing in my house.
It’s so vital to protect your skin and make sure to have a healthy skin care regime. Anything can throw your skin off balance, that’s why it’s necessary to do a facial mask at least once a week just to keep your skin in tip-top shape.
I wanted to create a mask that is great for skin healing, brightness, and reducing acne as well as many other benefits! Check below to see what you will need!

Ingredients for Diy Gel face mask:
- Aloe Vera gel from the leaf
- Essential oil (I used: lavender, tea tree)
- Small bowl
- Facial brush
First things first!
Starting off I cut the aloe leaf from one end to the other, having the whole inside exposed.
Aloe is known as a “miracle plant” so imagine all the great benefits for your skin. Aloe is great for dry skin, soothing of skin, and protects from harmful bacteria.
After that grab your bowl and use a spoon to softly scrape the aloe gel in your bowl.
Just so you know this step can get messy but it’s always fun switching it up and trying something new!
Now, you will want to poor 1 drop of each essential oil you choose.
For me, I chose to go with lavender oil and tea tree oil. If you know me, you know I love the scent of lavender, literally my favorite scent of life and plus it has so many benefits.
Lavender Benefits: treats acne, detox skin, heal insect bites
Tea Tree Benefits: clears acne, reduces scars, soothes redness, swelling, and heals skin due to eczema, psoriasis etc.
Now onto the final steps…mix together all ingredients with your facial brush, begin putting all over face and neck for an even balance.
Remember when applying, apply in an upward motion to prevent wrinkles.
Once applied leave mask on for 10-15 minutes or until dried.
Rinse face with water as well as a facial towel for easy removal.
This mask feels amazing when applied, it has a cool feeling and refreshes like no other. I love the smell, and overall the mask was beneficial in so many ways and I will be doing it again. Hope this help in your weekly mask planning!! Trying out more facial masks to come!
MY LOVELIES- “BE the glamorous women/girl YOU want to become.”
